Experience that brings calm, clarity, and strategic direction.
For 25 years, I've supported professionals in high-pressure moments where thoughtful judgment and strategic action matters. I care deeply about being a present, trusted coach in those times—helping my clients distill complexity and gain a sense of clarity, control, and direction. Together, we connect dots, identify needed shifts, and strengthen the capacity to act with intention and motivation.
My approach to coaching is holistic, grounded in neuroscience, and paired with a deep curiosity about how people interact and operate with one another in professional environments, teams, and systems. I began my career as an employment lawyer representing individuals and businesses in complicated legal disputes. Wanting to solve problems and conflicts before they escalated to litigation, I transitioned into mediation. I later spent seven years as an internal coach at an AmLaw 50 firm, supporting lawyers doing high-stakes legal work. In that role, I had the privilege of coaching hundreds of talented lawyers reach their ambitious goals and tackle their evolving leadership challenges.
From my perspective inside today's competitive landscape, sustaining success requires new levels of adaptability, self-awareness, and resilience. The demands are significant, but so are the opportunities for growth and leadership. I founded Karapelou Strategies to support leaders and teams who are motivated to think differently, test new strategies, and strengthen their ability to navigate perpetually changing dynamics and contribute at their highest level.

An outcomes-focused approach grounded in neuroscience and shaped by high-performance environments.
Moments of transition, persistent uncertainty, or heightened pressure can pull even the most capable leaders into reactive patterns that impair judgment. Not because of a lack of skill or drive, but because the brain’s threat response narrows attention and limits access to our best thinking.
The leaders who navigate these dynamics most effectively are those who can pause, gain perspective, and make deliberate, strategic decisions. That capacity has a direct impact on the outcomes they're working toward. Through coaching conversations grounded in neuroscience, I help clients:
-
Stay grounded and think clearly and strategically under pressure
-
Recognize and interrupt reactive patterns
-
Influence outcomes in complex systems
-
Navigate difficult conversations and conflict with confidence
